Winter Wedding at Shustoke Barn | Jess & Pete

For their winter celebration, bride & groom Jess and Pete chose to have their wedding at Shustoke Barn. A stunning 18th-century red brick barn located in the Warwickshire countryside.

We enjoyed some really chilled bridal prep time at a nearby hotel, loads of laughs and a glass or two of fizz (despite the stubborn cork not wanting to shift from the bottle). When everyone was ready – all ahead of time, I think that’s a first we headed over for the Wedding at Shustoke Barn.

What a perfect venue for a wedding at any time of the year it is. The spacious barn that is used for civil ceremonies and is also used as dining room and the space for the evening reception. There’s a separate bar area and a stunning courtyard area where the guests mingled and we captured some of the family group shots.  There were also a few fire pits which helped keep the chill off on a cold February day.

After the ceremony we walked around the grounds taking the opportunity to indulge in making some lovely natural portraits with the amazing textures of the building and the surrounding fields acting as perfect backdrops to accompany the low winter sun.

Following the cupcakes and marshmallows we hit the dancefloor which the staff had turned around from the reception incredibly quickly. Shustoke Barn proved to be the perfect venue for a perfect day.
