QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE…

Photojournalism with a love of beautiful portraits. For most of the day you’ll barely notice me,  I like to blend in with the guests or fade into the background so people forget I’m there! I’m not afraid to get up close and personal for the killer shots, cheeky winks, a solitary tear or the moment your bridesmaid nearly chokes on her drink with laughter.

I always take 15 minutes of the day to be alone with my bride and groom to capture some beautiful portraits, usually when the light is soft and golden.

Other than that I just go with the natural flow of the day!

Loads of people are – you haven’t met my wife!  I keep things as natural as possible using natural soft light and natural surroundings. I have techniques that help you to relax and be yourself on camera. If your having a wonderful day – which you will be because it’s your wedding day – it will show in my photos!

Of course – you should definitely have some.

Traditional Wedding group photos are still really important and valuable additions to you collection, it may be the only opportunity you’ll ever get to all have of your favourite people together at the same time.

I typically set aside for these to around 20 minutes. Years of experience has taught me this is optimum to stop the guests getting bored and distracted but still ample time to ensure we capture all the most important friends and family portraits.

Before your wedding I’ll send out my planning document and ask that somebody in the wedding party is nominated to gather people together and help run things as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Doing this allows for the most photos in the minimum amount of time. I always do and “whole group” shots first.

I take a lot of photos of your wedding! Part of the service I offer is selecting the very best and putting them together to tell your story. You can trust me to put together a set of highlights that document the day in the most comprehensive way possible. Every image is edited with real care and attention and treated as an individual piece of art.

For a full days coverage I typically deliver around 600 photos.

I use a website called “Pixieset”. You’ll be given access to your full gallery which you can share with friends and family. As a couple you’ll get an exclusive PIN number to download all of your photos in the highest resolution – they are then yours to do as you wish!

I typically deliver your full collection 4 weeks after your wedding and your highlights slideshow a couple of days before that.

I will share 10-12  “sneak peek” images a couple of days after the wedding while you’re still buzzing – just as a taster of what’s to come.

My slideshow is delivered a couple of days before the full collection.

It’s a highlight reel set to music. I get a great reactions from my couples saying how much the love the slideshows. They are a really powerful way to bring back the memories and emotions of the day and they’re great for sharing with friends and family online.

Yes, as soon as the collection is ready to view you can order prints, it’s really easy and the quality is amazing. Anyone you share your collection with can order prints too.

I cannot tell you enough how important I think it is to have your Wedding photos in print!

There is nothing else quite like it and it is by far and away the best way to have your photos presented in a way that you’ll look at them over and over for years to come.

I design the layout and send a proof for you to review before processing. The company I use is Folio Albums who share many of my values.

Luckily I rarely am. I haven’t ever missed a wedding through illness and I’ve covered over 150 weddings. I look after myself and keep fit – it’s something that’s overlooked by some photographers but it’s really important to be alert, agile and have good stamina when shooting a wedding for 12 hours.

In the unlikely event that I am unwell and can’t make it I have a network of awesome photographers to fall back on whom I can trust to do a fab job and who shoot in a similar style to me.  I would then edit all of the photos in my signature style.

Of course. I have full public liability and professional indemnity cover.
